Correlation
Two variables that I find to be correlated but don't have a causual relationship would be "failing a class" and "breaking up with a significant other". Breaking up with a significant other can cause a lot of stress on a person. This stress could easily be brought into the classroom and be a huge distraction. If the person is very stressed and distracted, that person can let that affect their performance within a class.

That's a good example. You could also talk about how a loss of a family member may affect grades and talk about how you couldn't prove that it was the cause but there is definitely correlation there
ReplyDeleteI do agree that breaking up with someone that you have been dating for a few years we affect how you think. It is a big event going on in your life at that time which takes over and clouds everything else like good judgement. I can see the coralation between breaking up and getting lower scores on grades.
ReplyDeleteI also agree that a break up could effect your classroom performance and could potienally lead to failing or doing bad in class.
