Correlation

Two variables that I find to be correlated but don't have a causual relationship would be "failing a class" and "breaking up with a significant other". Breaking up with a significant other can cause a lot of stress on a person. This stress could easily be brought into the classroom and be a huge distraction. If the person is very stressed and distracted, that person can let that affect their performance within a class.

  1. That's a good example. You could also talk about how a loss of a family member may affect grades and talk about how you couldn't prove that it was the cause but there is definitely correlation there

  2. I do agree that breaking up with someone that you have been dating for a few years we affect how you think. It is a big event going on in your life at that time which takes over and clouds everything else like good judgement. I can see the coralation between breaking up and getting lower scores on grades.

  3. I also agree that a break up could effect your classroom performance and could potienally lead to failing or doing bad in class.
