Erikson's Stages
I believe that I am in the Identity vs. Identity Confusion stage. I feel that I know what I want to do with my life, and I know where I am going. I am also very firm in my Christian beliefs. I know who I am and I know what I believe. In some aspects of my life, I guess you could say I'm in the autonomy vs. shame and doubt stage as well because I'm learning how to be more independent due to being a college student.

From what your first few lines state you seem to be very emphatic in who you are and what you want. I think you know what your identity is and that is pretty awesome
ReplyDeletei feel on the portion of autonomy, it simply as you said is due to being a college student, I feel that may be stage many college students have to deal with being away from home is a big step.
ReplyDeleteI agree with you that the Autonomy vs. Shame and doubt stage is due to being a college student and having to become more independent. I know it's difficult for me to be confident in the decisions I make and be self-reliant.
ReplyDeleteSounds to me you know who you are and are really starting to figure out what you want to do with your life; sounds like you're starting to come out of this stage and possibly moving to the next one. I agree with you on the autonomy stage; as a college student you defiantly have to become more independent and learn things on your own.
